My depressing day
Jun. 15th, 2006 07:17 pmNormally, I avoid talking about my private life because most of you do not care about it (and why should you?). But today I am posting about it because it is an easy medium to communicate through.
Short version, wore up this morning to find that someone (or someones) had burglarized the house. Probably not while we were asleep as a few things were missing from the bedroom but mostly from downstairs where we would did immediately notice. Upside, very little irreplaceable was stolen. Downside, it was still several thousand dollars worth of stuff, including a bunch of things left to me by my uncle.
Reported it all to the police and spent much of the day trying to put together a list of what had been stolen, and, man that is depressing.
So, anyway, if we are jumpy and weird for the next few weeks, that is why.
