Back to Normalcy and a review

After being told by both
coffeebadass and
laughingfreeman that I needed to see this, I moved John Carpenter's the Thing to the top of my Netflix queue.
I liked it better on this view (I had seen it years ago). The special effects hold up very well and are still quite stomach-churning in places. Kurt Russell plays a Kurt Russell character. The character interaction is quite good, especially in the paranoia filled last half but I thought it was riddled with plot holes. Still, worth watching if you like horror films. My Grade: C+/B-
