The Master: But, this is fantastic isn't it? The Time Lords restored!

The Doctor: You weren't there, in the final days of the war. You never saw what was born. That if the time lock's broken then everything is coming through. Not just the Daleks but the Skaro Degradations, The Horde of Travesties, The Nightmare Child, the Could-Have-Been King with his armies of Mean-Whiles and Never-Weres. The world turned into Hell, and that's what you opened right above the Earth. Hell is descending.

The Master: My kind of world.

Watched Reign of Fire last night, and it was not as bad as I had expected. Granted, the underlying background is implausible to an extreme degree, but once you accept that, the rest of the movie works out. Christian Bale does a solid acting job and the special effects are good. So, not terrible but not great either. My Grade: C+

Finished watching the new season of Doctor Who this morning. While I did not care for the (very literally) Deus Ex Machina conclusion to the season, I am impressed by how neatly the entire season wove together. Overall, I am so very happy to have Who back that I can easily forgive the weak episodes (which Who has always been prone to) and just be happy that there will be more Who. I am also sad that Christopher Eccleston decided to only play the Doctor for one season, I really enjoyed his take on the role.
