1) Who would make a better college professor: 6 (Ms. Christian), or 11 (Summer)?
Ms. Christian is a super-genius who can devise a technical solution to any problem. Summer is a reporter with the Boston Globe who fights the Dark (like cultists and other cthulu mysteries). But probably Summer, he is much better with people, Ms. Christian was always more comfortable with technology than people.
2) Do you think 2 (Dove) is hot? How hot?
Dove is a jedi, a bastion of moral and physical purity. But, yes, she is hot, in a “I can kill you with a light sabre” kind of way.
3) 12 (Rebel Belle) sends 8 (the Dasher) on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
Rebel Belle runs Rebel Enterprise Investments, a 3rd Tier Megacorp, Dashing is a freelance netrunner. (Ironic that this hits both the Shadowrun characters.) Data retrieval and analysis from a secure source. Yes, Dasher is good on the whole ghost the net thing, but has to call for backup to deal with the squad of Corp goons who trace the source of the decker.
4) What is, or would be, 9 (Hyoko)'s favorite book?
Akodo’s Leadership, as is proper (former) Lion Clan samurai what other book would one need?
5) Would it make more sense for 2 (Dove) to swear fealty to 6 (Ms. Christian), or the other way around?
Dove is committed to the jedi ideal. Ms. Christian has developed a harder edged view of what needs to be done but is an idealist at heart. If one followed the other it would be Penny serving Dove.
6) For some reason, 5 (Griffin) is looking for a room-mate. Should they share a studio apartment with 9 (Hyoko), or 10 (Echo)?
Griffin, footman to the nobility and all around thug would probably find more in common with the ronin Hyoko but be put off by her strict mannerisms. While Echo, a priestess of Tyche, would rub him the wrong way as he is an atheist bastard.
7) 2 (Dove), 7 (Avan), and 12 (Belle) have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Belle springs for a good dinner at the Inferno. The talk quickly turns to philosophy, with Avan, the elven scholar-mage, playing devil’s advocate. Politics, philosophy and ethics swirl around the table late into the night, nothing is resolved but all enjoy the interplay of ideas.
8) 3 (Jace) challenges 10 (Echo) to a duel. What happens?
Echo has the upstart gambler and huckster arrested and escorted beyond the lands of the Southern March with orders not to return.
9) If 1 (Zar) stole 8 (Dasher)'s most precious possession, how would they get it back?
Dasher’s would convince the war leader that a computer deck would be of very little use to her and offer to exchange his skills for its return. Zar would accept as the deck makes no sense to her while a holographic map could be very useful.
10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 (Avan) and 12 (Belle) both attain what they most desire.
"Seeing Beyond the Usual: Using All your Talents to Achieve your Goals."
11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4(Sarah-Jane) and 1(Zar) to work together?
Dark and demonic forces threaten, for all of her desire for personal power, Zar hates demon and otherworldly threats to her city. Sarah-Jane will fight the Dark to her last breath.
If 7 (Avan) visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Avan is a century-old scholar and a gentleman, I hope I would be able to keep up with his curiosity about the world we live in.
13) If you could command 3 (Jace) to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
Go to Vegas and win as much money as he could for me, skilled gambler and huckster that he is.
14) Does anyone on your friends list resemble 11 (Summer) (either in appearance or personality)?
I do not think so. Summer is sort of a odd bird in ways that most of my friends are not.
15) If 2 (Dove) had to choose sides between 4 (Sarah-Jane) and 5 (Griffin), which would it be?
Sarah, as someone who share her opposition to the Dark over the brutal, mercenary soul of Griffin.
16) What might 10 (Echo) shout while charging into battle?
Echo is not much of a charger, but she would certainly call upon her patron goddess Tyche and probably Athena as well.
17) If you chose a song to represent 8 (Dasher), which song would you choose?
“Got my Mind Set on You” by George Harrison, a solid Shadowrunner/hacker song.
18) 1 (Zar), 6 (Ms. Christian), and 12 (Belle) are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
The three high powered corporate/military leader types all having dim sum together, that does not bode well for someone. Ms. Christian and Belle would let Zar have it as that is politic.
19) What might be a good pick-up line for 2 (Dove) to use on 10 (Echo)?
"The Light will show you the Path." Though Dove -as a jedi- is not much into the pick-up scene.
20) What would 5 (Griffin) most likely be arrested for?
GBH, assault, attempted murder. Griffin is not a nice man.
21) What is 6 (Ms. Christian)'s secret?
Her corporate empire is built on technologies “liberated” from other dimensions.
22) If 11 (Summer) and 9 (Hyoko) were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
While Summer is a reporter used to running after stories, Hyoko is a samurai and martial artist who has been trained in the arts of combat mobility since childhood. But if Summer could get his car . . .
23) If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 (Avan) or 8 (Dasher)?
Dasher, he knows the mean streets and how to avoid trouble. Avan, while small and magical, is not streetwise at all..
24) 1 (Zar) and 9 (Hyoko) reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4 (Sarah-Jane)'s sinister secret organization. 11 (Summer) volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 (Belle) in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5 (Griffin), they seek out 3 (Jace), who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?
