There is some crazy money being spent in Dubai isn’t there? Did you ever read George Alec Effinger’s “When Gravity Fails?” It’s Middle Eastern cyberpunk all the way.

Yes. Loved the first book, not so hot on the second (and never made it to the third) but I have the Cyberpunk sourcebook.

Dubai is so amazingly weird.
