akaihyothe movie, we watched it tonight. Aeon Flux is based on the anime by Peter Chung (first in shorts then full episodes on MTV). The movie has very little to do with the anime, but that is alright, as the anime did not bother with internal consistency either. The plot was alright, the acting a bit wooden, but the special effects, sets, costuming and camera work were all excellent. Worth seeing if you like bizarre science fiction. My Grade: C+
