We watched this last night. Three Days of the Condor is a superb movie, playing on Cold War and fears of other crisis. Robert Redford does an excellent job as Joe Turner aka "Condor", the CIA researcher who is suddenly sucked into a deadly conspiracy. Max von Sydow plays Joubert, a mercenary killer. Strong plot, iincredible camera work and filming. Very good, well worth seeing. My Grade: A-
One of my favorite quotes from the movie:
Joubert: Well, the fact is, what I do is not a bad occupation. Someone is always willing to pay.
Joe Turner: I would find it... tiring.
Joubert: Oh, no - it's quite restful. It's almost peaceful. No need to believe in either side, or any side. There is no cause. There's only yourself. The belief is in your own precision.
