As you may know, Holocaust denier David Irving was arrested in Austria and now is awaiting trial of charges of denying the Holocaust (strange yes?). An article about that from the Germany magazine Der Spiegel can be found HERE. I found it quite interesting, especially that the author cannot resist taking jabs at England every few paragraphs and that he wants to use the power of the State to crush someone who likes Hitler (irony, from a German? never). I think "European" here may be something of a generalisation.

Well, yes. Continental or Central European would have perhaps been a better choice.
