SitCom recommendation

Just because I have not recommended any current TV shows for awhile . . .

My Name is Earl, starring Jason Lee as Earl, a loser who has come to realize that all the bad things that happen to him is because he has been a bad person. Karma. So, now he has a list and he is trying to make everything right to balance the karmic scales. Very well written and acted, much fun.

One of the two shows I try to watch (the other being House) and I will occasionally watch Law and Order: SVU and Desperate Housewives, but that is about it for network television these days.

I saw a couple of episodes of House while in Durham. Fun but a bit gimmicky and thin.

I like SVU for Ice-T and Richard Belzer.

It can be that, but Hugh Laurie is amazing as House. And some of the "medical mysteries" are quite interesting.

Me too, especially Belzer who never gets enough airtime.

The fun thing about Belzer's character is that it implies that the entire L&O empire shares the same continuity as the X-Files.

I don't watch any of those shows but if I watched one, it would be Earl. I caught a few eps of 'Threashold' and ... um, haven't seen much else this season. Oh, the first few eps of 'Kitchen Confidencial.' Stupid but fun and now it's gone.
