akaihyoI have started putting up photos from my trip at Flickr, only about a dozen are up right now and the are raw and unedited, but they are up. Nice scenery mostly.
I have a book recommendation too, I read Daughter of Empire by Raymond Feist and Janny Wurts over my trip (finishing it on the flight back). Very good fantasy set in a very Oriental feeling world, where honour is more important than life and our main character, a young woman pulled from the priestesshood and made Lady of her House, must save her family from their enemies and survive the politics of her homeland. Well written and fun. Apparently this book is a tangential part of Feist's 'Riftwar' series but I have not read any of those books.
I have been assigned a second section for my AEG project, so now I have 50,000 words to write and I should be seeing a contract really soon now . . .
