Movie, plays and opera houses

Last night we watched Stage Beauty, set during the English Restoration it deals with Ned Kynaston, an actor who specialized in playing women on the stage (as women were banned from performing at this time) and the changes that come to theatre. Interesting quasi-historical piece, well acted with excellent costumes and sets. Hard to say how much actual history was hidden in there but Samuel Pepys, the noted diarist of the period, is one of the characters (a wonderful site on Pepys' diary for those interested). My Grade: B/B-.
Been working on a fantasy opera house for the AEG project which has been interesting. I decided that all opera houses have to have their own phantoms, so this one gets a ghost.
Words written on my AEG project 9,200 out of 25,000.
