Also over the weekend, Laura and I watched Vampire Effect, a silly HK action movie with (you guessed it) vampires! The main characters are part of the Anti-Vampire Federation (which must sound better in Chinese), the fight scene are pretty good and, surprisingly as the two main actresses come to their roles by way of being popular models, the acting is not bad. And this movie does prove the adage that "Any movie can be improved by the addition of Jackie Chan and/or a monkey" (Jackie Chan guest starring in this case).
