Dead Birds

Last night, during a thunder storm for added creepiness, we watched the horror movie Dead Birds set during the American Civil War (1863 to be precise). Much of the movie takes place during a thunder storm (amusing that). A solid horror movie, excellent camera work, good special effects, acceptable plot. It seems to take its cue from the new wave of Japanese horror movies with minimal explanation of what is going on and what is going on is weird, evil and freaky. Worth watching if you like horror (with a mere touch of splatter).
