Back from Dragon*Con

How could I forget the Firefly event on Saturday? It filled one of the large rooms to standing room only capacity. Nathan Fillion (the Captain Malcom Reynolds), Jewel Staite (Kaylee, the Engineer), and Adam Baldwin (Jayne, the gunman) were all in attendance. Great fun, they really liked talking to the fans and the fan loved having them there. Everyone is very excited about the Firefly movie, Serenity which is out early next year. Much fun was had all around.

Sunday was a last wonder around, get autographs (Peter Davidson for me, Peter Jurasik for Laura), see Warren Ellis speak again on the Brit Track, hit up Mike Stackpole's presentation on writing fiction in game worlds (which was good general writing advice as well). Then off for home.

A good Dragon*Con if not overly exciting. Will try to be more awake so that we can do more next year.
