Finished watching the first season of Rosemary and Thyme "Murder most floral", a delightful light mystery series from England with Felicity Kendall. The two main characters Rosemary Boxer (Kendall's characters) and Laura Thyme, from early on in the series they work as gardeners on the high end of things restoring gardens and such. So, the series has lots of lovely English gardens as well. The shows are show (around 50 minutes) so the mysteries tend to have their resolutions a little rushed, but a fun show all the same. My Grade: C+/B-
The Last Mimzy confused modern fantasy (using Clarke's Law) with some nice special effects, competent acting, predictable plot but overall, it just did not fit together, as if a vital piece had gone missing. However, it did have the best product placement ever. My grade: C-/C
Lucky Number Sleven, wow, quite a ride. Uses some editing tricks and clever plot twists, so I cannot really say much about it without giving important pieces away. Just go watch it. My Grade: B+
