Late Dragon*Con Report

It has been a week since Dragon*Con ended so I am finally getting around to making my .
We headed into to D*C on Friday morning, it was the easiest we have ever gotten anywhere in the Atlanta Metroplex, taking less than 90-minutes from our door to the Marriott Marquis. Check in went smoothly and then off to get our badges which also went well, though not as quickly as last year.
The rest of the three days there was mostly a blur as I go to D*C to go, not really for anything in specific, and so wonder a lot.
High points: Catching up, usually briefly, with
st_rev,
simon_draskovic,
laughingfang,
forvrin and
kawakaze,
achariya, and
coffeebadass who was there selling handcrafted jewelry in the art show.
Seeing Lou Ferrigno in line in front of us at Starbuck (who is still massive), riding down in an elevator with Nichelle Nichols (who is still very cute) and getting Ron Glass' (who is very nice) autograph.
Attended some panels, none of them terrible exciting. However one of them "Is There More to Gaming than Fun?" was an academic panel and all three of the academic presenters who were on it (Patrick Williams, Sean Hendricks and Keith) are friends and current or past customers of Tyche's Games!
Having amazing good pizza at Slice about eight blocks from the Con Hotels, but worth the walk, even if we got rained on during the walk there.
But, as usual, D*C is all a bit of a blur, did not even take many photos but had a good time.
