On DVD: Wilde, the life of Oscar Wilde as played by Stephen Fry. Very interesting, a slow unfolding of the tragic tale of Wilde's life after his successes. Quite good, nice period detail and Fry makes a very good Wilde. My Grade: C/C+
Withnail & I, a tale of two actors and their disasterous sojurne to the countryside in the late 1960s. Amusing at times but depressing at others, well acted (and I got it to see Paul McGann in another role). My Grade: C-
At the theatre: Joshua. We knew of this film because a promotional company sent us a bunch of promo material for the movie. Not sure how to classify this movie, psychological drama fits it best. Slow, thoughtful, a little disturbing but somehow it never really clicked for either of us. My Grade: C-
