Actually, watched this last week, I just kept forgetting to review it.
Anyway, Delicatessen, recommended to us (long ago) by
lesingesavant. It is a mixture of urban fantasy and post-apocalyptic . . . humor? It is set in a crumbling apartment building in a dying wasteland that might have once been rural France. The landlord is also a butcher, but their are no animals, still, he has meat. Yes, cannibalism is one of the themes. To this place, comes an out of work former clown looking for a job. It is a very quirky, very strange movie. All of the characters are crazy, the world is falling to pieces, yet, life goes on. My Grade: C+
