Weekend Review

On Saturday, we watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang on a recommendation from wuxiadaddy. It is a modern day noir adventure with a comic twist. Robert Downey Jr. has the lead as petty crook turned detective. Val Kilmer is delightful as PI Gay Perry and it is overall a fun movie, if you like the noir sort of thing. My grade: C+/B-

Cool! Glad y'all liked it. We watched Brick last night. It's a much darker noir set in a high school. Much darker than Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. The writing is amazing.
