My NaNoWriMo writing advances with glacial slowness, but managing drips and drabs. As usual, event combined with my lack of focus has distracted me. More on the events part later.
Finished the first season of Avatar, The Last Airbender, just superb. Well paced, good attention to continuity (especially for an episodic show), well written, interesting world. Much fun. My Grade: B+

Date: 2006-11-29 09:40 am (UTC)I've encountered "Avatar, the Last Airbender" before (some webtrawl based on something someone said on some forum.) I concluded I wouldn't be able to take it seriously because "Bender" is an old English term for "gay." I have the same problem with Futurama. And there used to be the mascot of a burger compan y over here called "Bender" and you used to be able to get "BenderBurgers."
I'm so immature.

A jag, a tear, but never a bender?
