Day of Updates - 2 - V for Vendetta

So, Laura and I went and watched V for Vendetta last night. Not bad, not bad at all. Hugo Weaving does a superb job acting behind a mask, even Natalie Portman does a competent job, indeed the acting over all is high caliber. The movie is best where it parallels the graphic novel and weakest when it tries to add new material. I found that many important details and pieces of background information were left out to the detriment of a fully coherent story (it was understandable, but analyzing how things with together started to reveal increasing holes). Also it lacked Fate and "This Vicious Cabaret" both of which made me sad. Overall, well worth seeing if you like political-action movies. My Grade: B
