I wait until I am done with a series to review it, which is why sometime my reviews come in clumps as I finish watching a series on the same weekend I watch a movie or two. But these are some the the anime series I am in process of watching and my current thoughts:
Bleach, we have watched up through episode 32 (DVD 8) and it is good though it sometimes drags in the drawn out combat scenes. The art and story is fun and I am finally beginning to warm to the main character, always a plus.
Pumpkin Scissors, this is a really good framework for an RPG. The Pumpkin Scissors are a special unit tasked with assisting in rebuilding efforts in a country that has just ended a Great War sort of war (and about that level of technology too). So, they are sent on missions to deal with bandits, find missing food shipments and so on, and there is a background plot that ties into one of the characters background and the secret and illegal projects undertook during the war. Good fun.
