Hot Fuzz by the same team that brough us the brilliant Shawn of the Dead. This one riffs on Cop movies rather than zombie horror, as the genre is larger, the focus is dispersed. It is still a very funny film at times, but it lacks the pure genius of Shaun but still quite good. My Grade: C+
The Reckoning, a priest on the run, a group of players, a mysterious murder, in northern England in the 14th century. The start is a bit slow but it soon picks up, the acting is amazing (with a superb cast), the plot is tight and the costumes and sets are amazing. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. My Grade: A-
