Review - Spook Country
Oct. 17th, 2007 04:14 pmJust finished the novel Spook Country by William Gibson, where he moves entirely into the now, no more near future. The future is now. The stories of three point of view characters intertwine and tangle in a plot involving new meida, old spies, bleeding edge technologies and the aftermath of bad government decisions. Gibson's skillful use of technology and things just below the perception threshold of the modern world are the framework the plot is build upon. No big flashy moments, just lots of interesting piece that assemble into an interesting whole. My Grade: B+
