Weekend, Wedding and a Review
Feb. 12th, 2007 01:30 pmOn Saturday, Laura and I skipped out on work and went to the wedding of our friends Chris Tang and Trin in Atlanta (specifically at Anthony's Fine Dining, a restored 18th century house). Very fancy and nice with salmon for the wedding dinner. Everything went well and they make a lovely couple.
Rest of the weekend was mostly uneventful.
forvrin and
kawakaze came over on Sunday afternoon and we talked, some people (not me) did crafty things and we all ate fresh baked bread.
Last week, we watched A Scanner Darkly, not a good movie but a really interesting film technique. It just meandered all over the place with nothing ever really explained or clearly resolved. While there were some very interesting visual elements, looks alone do not make a movie. My Grade: C-/C
