Apr. 23rd, 2006 05:29 pmSince I have fallen behind:
El Mariachi, a low budget but still good movie about mistaken identift, muder and mariachi music. Not the best pacing or acting, but well worth seeing all the same. My Grade: C+/B-
Desperado, the sequel to the above movie, but in English, with a budget and Antonio Banderis taking over the lead. A bigger budget, better effects and lots of cameos fails to make this a better movie. El Mariachi was a tragedy, Desperado was just another action movie. But the pacing was better. My Grade: C
Better Off Dead, an 80s Teen Movie starring a young John Cusack. Not one of the better soundtracks for that sort of movie though. My Grade: C+
