A review and a little more
Mar. 29th, 2006 11:20 amOn Sunday, we watched Kind Hearts and Coronets, an Ealing comedy from 1949. I wanted to see it because it has Alec Guinness as virtually the entire D'Ascoyn family, who all get murdered in the main character's quest to become Duke as is his rightful due. Surprisingly, given the theme, it is only a slightly dark comedy. Very period and I thought it was quite fun. The main character is a delightful villain acted by Dennis Price. My Grade: B.
Still awaiting word back from AEG, they have a lot to read through, I know, but it is still very wearing.
