Watched King Arthur on DVD earlier this week. Billed as the 'true story' of King Arthur it was just weak. While I have no problem with King Arthur as a Romano-British King, this was not that story, to some extent, I cannot even tell you what story the movie was trying to tell . . . It has some very neat sequences and the battles are fairly interesting, but it did not hold together very well. And can someone tell me why the Church and all its members always has to be portrayed in current historical movies as evil fanatics and corrupt to boot while heretics are always noble and pure? I am no fan of the Church but still. My Grade: C-

Well, we are coming up on November and that means it is almost National Novel Writing Month.

I challenge all my LJ friend to participate as:
"My writing-fu is stronger than yours, step aside or be crushed by my thesauric knowledge of the English language!"

I figure a bit of friendly rivalry will help us all write more.
