Full Metal Alchemist

Watched the first DVD (containing the first 4 episodes) last night. A good start to the series, giving you background on the characters, the world and the magic system. The animation was good though the opening and ending themes were entirely unremarkable (the quality of anime soundtracks seem to be on the decline). I found it quite enjoyable and I look forward to watching more of the series.

I need to find time to catch up on some recent anime, I feel so far behind.

Shadowfist online

Finally gave the on-line Shadowfist CCG at CCG Workshop a try. The interface is a little clunky, but still fun. Got badly beaten by an Architect deck and played part of another but the Beta is still a little buggy. Still neat.
