Of course, since I said I would try to do more with my journal, it was a very busy weekend.

Saturday was work followed by an evening of cleaning and reorganization at home. Which, while productive, did not produce much of interest for my journal nor give me much time to write.

Sunday was an L5R tournament at Tyche's Games. The Crab against Mantis clan rivals using the new Diamond card set. Proxies abounded as the set does not officially release for another month and a half yet . . . Anyway, total of fourteen players including me. I managed to take second places after four rounds of swiss pairings and then moving to a final four. I lost to a corrupt Unicorn deck! How distressing but a good tourney with a wide variety of decks represented.

I was playing my Kyuden Ikoma Lion deck. I am very happy with how well it plays (and I was using a deck without proxied cards too). Honorable Lion is the way to be.

Anyway, did not get home until after 8:30pm so did not leave much time for writing either. And now the next stage of the AEG project is starting to arrive. Oh, the humanity! Still, I will try, honestly, to be better about updating this journal.
