Actually, got back last night. Today was spent on the road to Alamo, Georgia, and back for reasons I do not wish to discuss right now . . .
Dragon*Con was great fun. We stayed in the Mariott Marquis, very nice hotel and not absurdly expensive. Nice because about half of the Con (including the dealer's room) was also in the Marquis and the other half of the con was just across the street.
Attended three of the events on the writer's track which were interesting and hopefully will inspire me to write more in the coming months. Robert Asprin (author of the MYTH books and others) were on two of the panels, he is a fun guy to listen too. I intend to attend more of the writer's track next year.
Also attended a very well attended panel on Doctor Who. Nice to see that their are still lots of Whovian fans still out there. Sadly, no news on if there will be another Doctor Who series from the Beeb but lots of rumors. Fingers crossed that there will be though . . .
Already thinking about next year's D*C. I want to go in costume next year and so I am pondering what I need to put together for them . . .
