Angel, time travel and walking

We finally finished watching the final season of Angel. The ending was a little rushed but it at least provided a definitive end to the series. By far the best season of Angel, made watched the previous four seasons worthwhile.

Last night we watched a Japanese live action science fiction movie Returner. It involved time travel, aliens and the triads, a fairly wacky combo but not a bad movie. If you like Japanese SF movies, this is one of the best I have seen (a fairly small selection admittedly).

Getting easier to get around, I do not need my cane to move around in the store but going up stairs is still difficult.

Returner was worth it for the crazy bad guy alone. And the transforming jet plane.

I just saw Returner via a strange set of circumstances. It was pretty good! Given the amount of violence in the movie, I thought it got kind of Spielberg toward the end, but not objectionably so.

Plus, Anne Suzuki turned 18 last month.
