No novel for me, I fear

I just reread the WotC Novel Open Call rules. Either I misread it to begin with or they changed it, they are asking for the first three chapters and a chapter by chapter breakdown of the book. What with the time I lost due to my broken leg, surgery and so on, I do not think I will be able to finish this in time. *sigh*

I'm pretty sure they changed it, since I've had "First chapter + outline" seared into my brain ever since I first heard about it.
