The joys of writing for the Gaming Industry

And the perils. Some of you may remember I mentioned Damage Control Games and their cool space combat game, Phoenix Horizons. Well, I was writing setting fiction pieces for them, just little 400-word pieces about the characters in the game, nothing big. However, it was awesome because I was getting paid for writing fiction! Unfortunately, the partnership running DCG has split and the company is likely to vanish before anything sees print. Sadness.
